About us

One Crew Electrical & HVAC is a growing electrical and air-conditioning contractor delivering work across South East Queensland and remote North West Queensland — from commercial and hospital maintenance to installs and project work. We run a modern, systems-driven operation, and we're looking for an Operations Supervisor to keep the daily engine running smoothly.

The role

This is an office-based role, and it's the person who oversees our day-to-day operations. You won't be booking jobs yourself — our coordinator handles job building and scheduling — but you'll make sure it's all being done correctly, on time, and to a high standard. Because you've been on the tools, you'll spot the things a non-trade person misses: an unrealistic run of jobs, a scope that doesn't add up, a tech who's been set up to fail by a bad schedule. You'll keep the office and field running in sync, be a direct point of contact for our clients, and be the person who makes sure nothing slips.

What you'll do

Oversee daily operations — keep the office and field team running smoothly and make sure the day-to-day just works.

Oversee scheduling and dispatch — you're not doing the bookings, but you make sure technicians are scheduled correctly, efficiently, and that the board is always right. You'll read a job the way a tradesperson does and spot problems before they become problems.





Run the operations desk — own the office/admin side of the business: job flow, follow-ups, coordination between the field, the office and management.

Be a direct point of contact for our clients — build strong relationships, handle requests and queries, and be the reliable voice clients can count on. You'll talk their language because you've done the work.

Manage local and out-of-town workloads — keep both our local jobs and our remote/regional work planned, resourced and on track.

Keep everything on track — chase what's outstanding, unblock the team, and make sure jobs move from booked to done to invoiced without gaps.

Improve how we run — tighten processes and systems so the business scales cleanly as we grow.

What we're looking for

A trade background — time on the tools in electrical, HVAC, construction or field services. You understand the work, the sites, and what techs need to get a job done properly.

Ready to move into an office-based role — you want to swap the truck for the operations desk, and you're keen to build the organisational and admin side of your skill set.

A natural organiser who can hold a lot of moving parts in their head and keep calm doing it.

Confident overseeing others and holding standards — you make sure things are done right without having to do them yourself.

Excellent with people — equally comfortable dealing with clients, tradespeople and office staff.

Willing to learn our systems — we run ServiceM8 and general business software. Office or job-management software experience is a plus, but if you're a quick learner we'll get you up to speed.

Experience coordinating regional or work from home is a big plus.
