The Company

Talice Security is a locally owned and operated company that has been providing security services in the Northern Territory for over 40 years. The company has grown from a small one-person operation to our current organization of over 150 employees.

We currently have vacancies for Crowd Controllers to work at various venues and events across Alice Springs and the greater Central Australia region. The right candidate will be safety conscious and can work with a diverse group of people.

Key responsibilities for this position include though not limited to :

- The ability to provide security and customer service in a large client base setting.
- The ability to coordinate and complete all patrol checks and any other security work during the shift.
- The ability and willingness to learn the operations of alarm systems, access control systems, CCTV and Fire & Safety procedures including Fire Indication panels.
- Proven experience in communicating and responding to challenging and aggressive situations such as distressed persons, demonstrating empathy, integrity and resilience under various circumstances.
- Strong written communication skills particularly in report writing, maintaining shift logs and entering information into databases.




- The ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management and other key stakeholders including ability to work independently and co-operatively as a member of a team.

- Strong leadership qualities and experience in supervising teams.
- Ability to de-escalate challenging situations calmly and professionally.

The Candidate

To be considered for this position you must be able to obtain / demonstrate the following qualifications and skills:

- Current NT Security License
- Current NT C Class Driver's License
- Certificate II in Security Operations
- A current Certificate in First Aid with CPR
- Ochre Card / Working with Children Card
- Demonstrated Competency in Primary and Secondary Screening Processes (Desirable)
- High levels of Emotional Intelligence
- The ability to communicate effectively with people from different backgrounds and walks of life
- High level of integrity and commitment to company and/or site procedures
- Attention to detail and strong literacy and numeracy skills

This is a full time role working a minimum of 38 hours per week, and a salary of $80,000 per annum will be offered to those successful.
