About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to supervise and support the day to day activities of our production team at our West Gosford facility. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are achieved. This is a hands on leadership position responsible for coordinating workflow, supporting team performance, and fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement. You'll work closely with production employees and management to deliver operational excellence across every shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and support production employees across designated production lines and areas.
- Coordinate daily workflow and allocate labour resources to meet production schedules and operational priorities.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor product quality, productivity, waste, and operational performance throughout the shift.
- Complete production documentation and communicate shift outcomes, issues, and operational risks to management.
About You
You are a proactive and hands on leader with experience working in a production or manufacturing environment. You thrive in fast paced operations, enjoy developing people, and have a genuine commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork. With strong communication and problem-solving skills, you can effectively balance operational priorities while maintaining a positive and productive workplace culture. You take ownership, lead by example, and are passionate about driving team performance and continuous improvement.
You Will Bring
- Demonstrated experience leading or supporting teams within a production, manufacturing, warehousing, or similar operational workplace.
- Demonstrated experience working to production targets and operational KPIs.
- Solid leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities.
- Effective communication, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
- Basic computer literacy and experience completing operational reporting and documentation.
