Since 2005, Caloundra City Private School has established its position as a leading co-educational Kindergarten to Year 12 school set on 11 hectares in the beautiful Pelican Waters on the Sunshine Coast. About the Role

Caloundra City Private School is looking for a supervisor to lead our cleaning team.

You will be working across all areas of the school and early learning centre.

Must have requirements

Working with Children Check – paid blue card

Experience in supervising and cleaning on a large scale in a school or commercial environment

Must be able to work unsupervised following a cleaning schedule and be confident allocating duties to our cleaning team

High attention to detail

Current Child Protection training or willingness to obtain prior to commencing





This position involves supervising staff, regular manual handling, including lifting, carrying and moving cleaning equipment and supplies. Applicants must be physically capable of safely lifting and carrying items weighing up to 10kg, as well as performing tasks that require bending, reaching, standing and walking for extended periods. Applicants must be confident working at heights up to 1.5 metres on a platform ladder.

Duties include

Cleaning all areas in the school and early learning centre

Allocating duties to our cleaning team and ensuring a high standard of cleaning is being maintained

Restocking supplies

Protected usage of cleaning equipment

Safe usage of cleaning chemicals

You will be

Reliable and punctual and have experience in school or commercial cleaning and have knowledge of workplace OH&S.;

You will also have experience supervising a team of cleaners to ensure all tasks are performed to a high standard.
