THE ORGANISATION

Our client is a leading global retailer experiencing significant growth across Australia and New Zealand. With a large national workforce, an expanding store network and continued investment in its People function, the business is focused on building a best-in-class employee experience to support its next phase of growth. Having recently invested in new people systems, leadership development and organisational capability, they are now seeking an experienced HR leader to help elevate their people practices and continue the evolution of the HR function.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the GM of People, this leadership role will be responsible for leading Employee Relations, Employee Experience and HR Systems across Australia and New Zealand. Working closely with leaders across the business, you will develop a small HR team while driving strategic initiatives across workforce planning, retention, succession planning, performance, remuneration and benefits, and HR systems optimisation. You will also play a key role in strengthening people leadership capability,



coaching stakeholders and creating practical solutions that support a rapidly growing business.

THE CRITERIA

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience within a senior HR Business Partner or HR Manager position, supported by solid Employee Relations capability and experience leading or mentoring HR professionals. You will bring experience driving HR Systems improvements, influencing senior stakeholders and delivering workforce planning and organisational change initiatives. Experience within retail or another high-volume operational environment will be highly regarded, along with the ability to work confidently in a fast-paced, evolving business.
