About the Role

As a Used Car Sales Consultant, you'll play a key role in helping customers find the right vehicle while creating a seamless and enjoyable buying experience from enquiry through to delivery.

You’ll build strong customer relationships, manage sales opportunities, maintain product knowledge, and work collaboratively with the wider dealership team to achieve outstanding results.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Assisting customers with vehicle enquiries, both in person and online
- Managing and following up leads to maximise sales opportunities




- Guiding customers through the vehicle purchasing journey
- Demonstrating vehicles and arranging test drives
- Maintaining strong knowledge of current stock, promotions, and competitor products
- Working closely with the Finance & Insurance and Aftermarket and Service teams
- Ensuring all sales documentation is completed accurately and compliantly
- Delivering exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale
- Contributing to the presentation and merchandising of the vehicle display yard
- Achieving individual sales targets and contributing to team success

What We’re Looking For

- Previous automotive sales experience (preferred but not essential for the right person)
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- A professional, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Motivation to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Confidence using computer systems and CRM platforms
- A willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training
- A current Queensland Motor Vehicle Salesperson Licence
- A current Queensland C Class Driver Licence
