Role Purpose

Join a high-performing finance team where your attention to detail, technical capability, and commitment to accuracy will support strong financial performance across the Group's Australian and New Zealand operations. Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the Accountant plays a key role in delivering reliable financial information, maintaining effective financial controls, and supporting operational teams with timely and accurate reporting.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated accounting professional to deepen their technical skills,



contribute to process improvements, and play a meaningful part in the ongoing enhancement of our finance operations.

Key Accountabilities

Support monthly and annual financial close processes, including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reports.

Assist with the consolidation of financial results across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory, regulatory, and taxation requirements.

Prepare documentation and provide support for internal and external audits, ensuring strong financial controls and robust evidence are maintained.

Contribute to cash flow tracking, forecasting activities, and budget preparation.

Assist in maintaining and improving financial systems, processes, and controls, and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.

Support commercial finance activities, including monitoring customer and supplier obligations and providing financial insights to operational teams.

Collaborate with colleagues across the business to support performance improvement and finance-related projects.

Perform other accounting and finance tasks as required to support the broader team.

Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate:





Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.

Progress toward CA or CPA qualification (completed qualification an advantage).

2-4 years' experience in a professional services or commercial accounting role, with a solid understanding of accounting standards and compliance.

Strong experience with month-end processes and exposure to audit activities.

Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

A proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and commitment to continuous improvement.

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and evolving setting.
