Your Role & Responsibilities

As a Practice Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional care to our patients.

Your responsibilities will include:

Clinical Care

- Administering childhood immunizations & general vaccinations
- Managing wound care & assisting with minor procedures (excisions, women's health)
- Performing Spirometry, Audiometry, ECG, and Holter monitoring
- Conducting ear syringing,



iron infusions and venesections
- Triage & patient assessments
- Sterilizing medical equipment

Chronic Disease & Preventative Care

- Performing health assessments, including ATSI health assessments
- Assisting with Care Plans and patient education
- Coordinating patient recalls and results using HotDocs software

Compliance & Administration

- Maintaining AGPAL Accreditation Clinical Standards
- Managing cold chain compliance
- Stock Ordering & managing medical supplies
- Adhering to COVID-19 vaccination protocols & guidelines

What we are looking for in essential criteria

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Valid CPR / First Aid and Immunisation Certificate
- Solid understanding of patient privacy & confidentiality
- Ability to work independently & as part of a team
- A patient-first approach with empathy, compassion & professionalism
- Knowledge of Best Practice or similar medical software (training provided)
- Familiarity with GP Accreditation processes (preferred but not essential)
- Previous general practice or primary care nursing experience is preferred but not essential.
- Australian permanent residency or citizenship is required for this position
- Monday - Friday availability, with potential for rotational Saturday morning shifts
