Our client is a well-established and growing residential builder with an outstanding reputation for quality, customer service, and delivering exceptional homes. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced and highly organised Construction Administrator to join their vibrant and energetic team.
This role is a key coordination position within the business, responsible for providing end-to-end administrative support and client liaison throughout the entire construction lifecycle — from pre-construction through to construction, handover, and the post-handover defect period.
Working closely with Site Supervisors, clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal departments, you will play a critical role in ensuring builds progress efficiently, documentation is accurate, and clients receive exceptional communication and support throughout the process.
Reporting to the Operations Manager the day to day duties will include:
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end administrative support across pre-construction, construction, handover, and post-handover defect stages
- Coordinate and lodge all approvals, permits, and compliance documentation
- Liaise with councils, certifiers, consultants, suppliers, trades, and internal teams to ensure smooth job progression
- Manage client communication and provide regular progress updates throughout the build process
- Maintain accurate records and workflows in Onsite Companion (OSC)
- Support Site Supervisors with administration, inspections, stage requirements, and documentation control
- Manage variations, EOTs, certificates, and key build-stage compliance requirements
- Coordinate handover packs and post-handover defect management (up to 3 months)
- Assist with general administration tasks,
reporting, and workflow support across the business
- Identify and escape risks, delays, and compliance issues as required

To Be Successful You Will Have
- Previous experience in a residential construction administration or build coordination role
- Strong knowledge of residential building processes from pre-construction through to handover
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Onsite Companion software highly regarded
- Professional presentation and strong problem-solving ability
- Excellent references to support your experience
