This is a hands-on role with real ownership across the platform - covering infrastructure, networking, governance and DevOps practices. You'll work across IaaS, PaaS and SaaS, helping shape a scalable, secure and well-managed Azure workplace.This role is ideal for someone with a platform/infrastructure background, rather than pure development or integration, who's comfortable working across the full Azure stack.
This Senior Azure Cloud Engineer role sits within a high-performing technology team responsible for delivering and evolving a modern cloud platform. You'll take ownership across core Azure services, working across infrastructure, networking, governance and DevOps practices to ensure a secure, scalable and well-managed environment.
This role requires a strong, multi-disciplinary skill set, with a clear focus on infrastructure-led platform engineering. You'll work across the full Azure stack, combining deep technical capability with a proactive mindset to improve platform standards, automation and reliability in a fast-moving environment.

About the Role
- Design, build and maintain Azure platform services across infrastructure and cloud environments
- Develop and manage landing zones, management groups and platform governance standards
- Deliver infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code (Bicep or Terraform) aligned with DevOps practices
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated, reliable platform deployments
- Support Azure services across IaaS, PaaS and SaaS layers, ensuring performance and scalability
- Manage core infrastructure components including networking, policies, storage and virtual machines
- Contribute to monitoring, security and cost optimisation across the cloud platform
- Proactively identify improvements and uplift platform design, standards and automation
About You
- Experienced Azure Platform or Cloud Engineer with strong infrastructure and DevOps capability
- Background in infrastructure or platform engineering rather than development or integration
- Strong experience across Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services
- Hands-on with infrastructure-as-code (Bicep or Terraform) and CI/CD pipeline delivery
- Deep understanding of Azure networking, landing zones, policies and platform governance
- Comfortable working across the full Azure platform in a mid-sized, end-to-end environment
- Strong communicator who can collaborate across teams and contribute to platform direction
