Express Employment is currently working with a freight and logistics forwarding warehouse based in Wetherill Park.
Due to high demand, we are currently seeking experienced Forklift Operators and Linehaul Loaders for ongoing work with immediate starts.
These positions are ideal for candidates with freight forwarding or transport industry experience who are confident working in high-volume depot operations.
- Operating Counterbalance forklifts to safely load and unload Linehaul freight, including oversized freight, awkward cargo, pallets, and dangerous goods
- Scanning, pre-picking, and staging freight using PED devices to ensure accurate freight movement and dispatch
- Correctly balancing truck weight distribution and maximising trailer and truck space utilisation
- Operating TUG vehicles to move loaded trailers around the depot when required
- Opening and closing tautliners and gates, applying load restraint strapping, and ensuring compliance with load restraint standards
- Assisting with general depot operations and freight handling duties while maintaining secure work practices
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' recent Linehaul loading experience
- Strong understanding of load distribution and load restraint compliance
- Experience handling oversized freight and dangerous goods
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- TUG experience highly regarded
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and police check
- Strong safety focus and attention to detail
- Reliable transport and availability for PM shifts
- Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship required
- Commitment to an ongoing temp-to-perm role
