- As a CBRE Maintenance Technical Apprentice, you will develop on the job skills to maintain buildings, industrial systems, and equipment on an ongoing basis
- This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems
- We are currently hiring Apprentice in AC & Refrigeration to join us and support Data Centre Critical Workplace.

What You'll Do:

- Receive training from current operations team in proper job safety and repair procedures
- Observe operations team while they perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities
- Assist with servicing & Maintenance of building equipment and systems
- Work with management to ensure energy management by taking measures to verify that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner
- Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.Follow a set procedure in the performance of repetitive tasks or job activities
- Impact through methods, tasks, and duties which are clearly defined and followed with little to no discretion.

About the Candidate

- High School Diploma, GED, or currently enrolled in a college program or technical school
- In progress Certificate III Electrotechnology Electrical/Air-conditioning & Refrigeration
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to develop skills to perform basic activities in own job.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset
- Applicant required to provide latest student transcript
- Must be Australian Citizen - NV1 clearance is require
- Must have driver's license
