About the Role

EARTH AI is seeking Graduate AI Engineers to support the development of applied AI and machine learning systems for mineral exploration.

This role is suited to recent graduates and early-career candidates with up to 2 years of professional experience.

Working closely with our senior AI researcher, data engineers, and geoscientists, you will contribute to practical, innovation-focused AI systems that are actively used across the business. You will work on complex challenges using emerging AI technologies in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and evaluate machine learning models and AI agents using multimodal geological and operational datasets, engineered from incomplete and noisy real-world data
- Build and maintain specialised modular AI components, including AI agents and classical ML models
- Gather requirements, develop domain understanding, run experiments, validate outputs,



and iterate based on findings
- Write clean, maintainable Python code and contribute to shared tooling and codebases

About You

Degree in:

- Data Science
- Computer Science or Information Technology (AI/ML/Data specialisation)
- or another science or engineering discipline with a strong AI focus

Up to 2 years of professional experience in AI, ML, data, or related engineering roles

Strong understanding of:

- machine learning fundamentals
- statistics and data analysis
- agentic AI systems and LLMs
- retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), multi-agent collaboration (MAC), and domain-specific fine-tuning

Proficiency in Python, including NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, and PyTorch

Exposure to agentic AI platforms and agents integration in automation workflows

Ability to build advanced data visualisation and analysis pipelines

Experience working with structured and/or unstructured datasets under real-world constraints

Understanding of software development practices

Ability to research and reason about technologies and align outcomes with functional requirements
