Innes Projects and Constructions Pty Ltd (Innes Group Pty Ltd) are a well-established construction and maintenance provider working with a portfolio of long-term commercial and institutional clients across Queensland and Northern New South Wales. We work closely with multiple facility management providers, supporting commercial, retail, education, and industrial portfolios.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager to oversee building and maintenance projects for our regular client base.

About the role

As a Commercial Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of building, maintenance, and facilities-related projects. You’ll work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

This role suits someone who enjoys managing multiple projects concurrently, values long-term client relationships, and understands the operational demands of facilities and maintenance environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage commercial building, maintenance, and FM projects from planning through to completion
- Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Develop project scopes, programs, and budgets




- Ensure compliance with WHS, quality, and contractual requirements
- Maintain strong relationships with regular clients and stakeholders
- Conduct site inspections and manage variations and defects
- Provide accurate reporting on cost, progress, and risk

About You

- Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial building, maintenance, or facilities management
- Strong understanding of maintenance-based and reactive works environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
- Sound knowledge of WHS and Australian building standards
- Solid commercial acumen and problem-solving ability
- Trade or construction-related background

Desirable (but not essential):

- Formal qualifications in Construction Management or Project Management
- Experience working with long-term or portfolio-based clients
