This is a hands‑on leadership role focused on what we do best — precision tray and canopy installations, high‑quality vehicle accessories and complete 12V power systems.
You will be responsible for setting the standard within the workshop, coordinating daily production, supporting the fitment team and ensuring every vehicle is completed on time, safely, efficiently and to the level of quality our customers expect.

About the Role
As Workshop Foreman, you will:
- Lead and coordinate the day‑to‑day activities of the workshop and fitment team
- Allocate jobs, manage priorities and ensure builds remain on schedule
- Work hands‑on alongside the team across vehicle builds, tray, canopy, accessory and power system installations
- Review upcoming builds and confirm parts, accessories and job requirements are ready before work begins
- Technical support for our dealer network of installers and builders
- Set explicit expectations around workmanship, efficiency, presentation and safety
- Inspect completed work and ensure vehicles meet Teralume’s quality standards before handover
- Identify fitment issues early and take ownership of resolving them
- Support, train and develop fitters to improve their capability and consistency
- Maintain a spotless, organised, safe and professional workshop
- Communicate clearly with operations, service and management regarding progress, delays and workshop requirements
- Help improve workshop systems, processes and build documentation
- Take accountability for the overall performance and output of the fitment team
About You
You will be a highly capable tradesperson or senior vehicle fitter with strong leadership qualities and a genuine commitment to quality.
You will have:
- Demonstrated experience in vehicle accessory fitting, mechanical work, auto electrical work, fabrication or a similar hands‑on industry
- Previous experience leading, supervising or mentoring a workshop team
- Strong knowledge of tray, canopy and vehicle accessory installations
- Experience with 12V electrical systems and complete vehicle power setups
- The ability to read job requirements, plan work and coordinate multiple builds
- Exceptional attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- The confidence to set expectations and hold people accountable
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions
- Clear communication and a calm, professional leadership style
- A reliable, consistent and organised approach to your work
- A valid Australian driver’s licence (MR or higher preffered)
Experience within the 4WD, automotive accessory, fleet fit‑out, fabrication or body‑building industries will be highly regarded.
