Ignite Legal Group is looking for a Principal Conveyancing Solicitor to lead our growing property law practice. Commission Structure

Our remuneration model rewards performance.

You’ll receive:

Base Salary

- $100,000 + Superannuation

Monthly Commission

Paid on collected professional fees:

- Purchases – 15%

- Sales – 15%

- Wills – 10%

There is no cap on your commission, meaning your earning potential grows alongside your billings.

About the Role

This is a senior, hands‑on leadership position where you'll be responsible for managing residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to settlement while overseeing compliance,



quality standards and the ongoing growth of the practice.

Working closely with the Director, you'll play a key role in shaping the future direction of the business.

Residential Conveyancing

- Manage residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to settlement

- Conduct contract reviews and provide practical legal advice

- Manage PEXA settlements and electronic conveyancing

- Liaise with brokers, lenders, real estate agents and other solicitors

- Maintain accurate file notes, WIP and billing records

- Deliver exceptional client service throughout every transaction

Practice Leadership

- Hold and maintain (or obtain) a Queensland Principal Practising Certificate

- Supervise solicitors, conveyancers and support staff where required

- Maintain quality assurance standards and file compliance

- Oversee risk management including AML, VOI, conflict checks and fraud prevention

- Assist with workflow improvements and business growth initiatives

Business Development

- Build robust relationships with Loan Market brokers and referral partners

- Support client experience and referral growth strategies

- Represent the business professionally within the industry

Compliance & Governance

- Ensure compliance with Queensland legal obligations and professional standards





- Report on operational performance and file management

- Maintain confidentiality across all client and business matters

About You

To be successful, you'll bring:

- Queensland Principal Practising Certificate (or eligibility to obtain one)

- Extensive Queensland residential conveyancing experience

- Ability to independently manage a high‑volume conveyancing practice

- Strong knowledge of PEXA and electronic settlements

- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills

- High attention to detail and sound professional judgement

- A passion for mentoring others and improving legal processes

Highly regarded experience includes:

- Leading or supervising a conveyancing team

- High‑volume conveyancing environments

- Process improvement and legal technology

- Existing relationships across property, finance or real estate industries

Employment Details

- Full‑time position (38 hours per week)

- Hybrid working arrangement

- Additional reasonable hours as required

- Reports directly to the Director
