The role

Regal Innovations is seeking an experienced and motivated Softworks Horticulturalist to join ourMaintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about horticulture, takes pride in delivering high-quality landscapes, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.

Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for maintaining commercial landscapes to the highest standards while contributing to a safe, efficient, and professional workplace.

Your impact

As a Softworks Horticulturalist, you'll undertake a variety of horticultural and landscape maintenance activities across commercial sites. Your role will focus on establishing and maintaining healthy, attractive landscapes while ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.

Your every day

- Planting trees, shrubs, grasses,



groundcovers, and seasonal plants.
- Mowing, edging, weeding, pruning, mulching, and general garden maintenance.
- Soil preparation, garden bed establishment, turf installation, and lawn maintenance.
- Installing, monitoring, and carrying out basic repairs to irrigation systems.
- Identifying plants and selecting appropriate species for site requirements.
- Interpreting landscape plans and working to project schedules.
- Diagnosing and assisting in the treatment of plant deficiencies, pests, and diseases.
- Carrying out fertilising, watering, pruning, and ongoing plant care.
- Operating horticultural tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintaining clean, organised, and safe worksites.
- Following site management plans and safe work procedures.
- Identifying hazards, assisting with risk assessments, and reporting incidents promptly.
- Building positive working relationships with clients, colleagues, subcontractors, and members of the public.

Who are you?

To be successful in this role, you willbring:

- A qualification in Horticulture (or a related discipline).
- Demonstrated experience in softworks horticulture, commercial landscaping, or landscape maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of plants, soils, irrigation systems, and seasonal maintenance practices.
- A current White Card.
- A strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
- A commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach when interacting with clients and colleagues.
- The ability to follow direction while taking ownership of your work.
