Lime Recruitment is currently working with a large Queensland government client to recruit an experiencedProcurement and Contracts Project Officer. In this role you will lead and deliver priority complex, high-value ICT procurement and contracting activities within Data and Digital Government.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and deliver complex, high risk ICT procurement and contracting activities working under the direction of the Senior Procurement Lead and in accordance with approved procurement strategies and plans.
- Coordinate and deliver sourcing, evaluation, negotiation and contract establishment activities, taking hands-on responsibility for high quality compliant procurement outcomes.
- Prepare and maintain accurate, timely audit ready procurement, evaluation and contract documentation in line with Queensland Government procurement frameworks, polices and probity requirements.
- Establish and support appropriate governance and probity arrangements including maintaining explicit, defensible procurement records.
- Work collaboratively with project, technical and commercial stakeholders to translate business and operational requirements into clear procurement specifications and evaluation criteria.
- Coordinate tender evaluation processes, including evaluation panel activities, clarifications, moderation and reporting.
- Provide procurement and contract management project support to assist team members such as meeting scheduling, reporting, risk management, purchase order management.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance procurement processes, documentation and stakeholder capability.
About you
- Queensland Government Level 3 Procurement.
- Certificate IV in Procurement or equivalent Tertiary qualifications or significant experience in procurement, contract management or a related discipline.
- Experience with ICT-related procurement frameworks (eg: QICT) would be highly regarded
