We are partnering with a large organisation to recruit a Coordinator - ICT Operations to join their team on a permanent basis. This role will be accountable for the management of the organisations Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure, business systems and provision of IT service desk support. This position has a strong focus on improvement, cyber security, delivery of projects, system resilience and vendor management and will also ensure ICT Disaster Recovery processes and procedures are maintained and tested. As a key member of the ICT leadership team, this role contributes to developing and executing the ICT Strategic plan and ensuring service delivery meets the needs of the organisation.

You will coordinate the operational availability, efficiency, security, and support of the organisations ICT infrastructure and Business Systems within a hybrid ICT environment that includes a mixture of in-house and vendor managed services inclusive of server (virtual and physical), network (LAN/WAN/Microwave/VPN/Wi-Fi), unified communications and end user computing devices (Desktops/Laptops/Mobile Devices), along with business systems including the TechnologyOne ERP suite, GIS platforms.

The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:

Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive equivalent experience within a large,



complex and rapidly changing organisation with specific focus on ICT management or ICT operations

Strategic management and leadership skills in driving people, process and technology change in a dynamic and complex environment, particularly ICT service management and ICT operations best practice.

Ability to build and maintain professional internal and external client relationships including with vendors

ITIL certification preferred or the ability to attain within 3 months.

Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle under a C Class Licence.

Knowledge of, and experience in, project management frameworks, analysing business requirements and implementing business system enhancements to facilitate achievement of business objectives.

Understanding of the IT industry and the implications of emerging approaches

Ability to develop, implement and monitor quality processes to ensure consistent and professional service support and delivery in line with ITIL principles.

Substantial experience in a senior ICT Operations Manager role within a large and complex, multi-site setting.

Experience in leading an ICT service desk, business applications and infrastructure teams
