We are seeking an experienced and motivated Block Layer Supervisor to lead our Walls Division crews. This role is ideal for a self-on leader with strong block-laying experience who can effectively manage teams, maintain productivity, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Key Requirements

- Extensive experience in limestone wall construction and block laying. (2+ minimum years)
- Previous experience supervising or leading construction crews.
- Excavator and/or Bobcat (Skid Steer) ticket preferred, but not essential.
- Current C Class Manual Driver's Licence.
- Valid Construction Induction (White) Card.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Commitment to quality workmanship, safety standards, and environmental compliance.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate block laying crews across multiple projects.
- Plan and allocate labour, plant, equipment, and materials to maximise productivity.
- Monitor quality of work and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Mentor, train, and develop crew members to maintain a high-performing team.
- Maintain effective communication between site crews, supervisors, and management.
- Identify and resolve on-site issues to minimise delays and maintain project schedules.
- Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Complete site documentation, inspections, and reporting requirements.
- Foster a positive team culture and lead by example on site.
