Customer Service Officer/Service Co-ordinator

Independent Living Specialists (ILS) has evolved over the last 18 years to be the largest supplier of Assistive Technology equipment in Australia. We have 60 stores and over 700 team members located in the ACT, NSW, Queensland, Victoria and South Australia, and are continuing to expand our footprint.

An opportunity is now available for a Full-time Service Co‑ordinator at our Eastern Creek Office. The role is fast-paced but very rewarding, which will require you to work efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities will include:

As a Service Co‑ordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive timely, high‑quality service from start to finish. Your day will be varied and dynamic, and you’ll be at the centre of coordinating people, processes and solutions.

- Handling high volume of inbound calls with high priority enquiries
- Confident, explicit and courteous communication required when emailing and on phones
- Coordinate service requests from initial contact to end-to-end service completion
- Plan,



schedule and organise servicing of our products, including allocation of service technicians, coordinating spare parts and ensuring jobs are completed within service level agreements
- Raise transfers for spare parts and liaise with procurement on ETA’s to ensure spare parts are available for jobs as required
- Support field technical enquiries and provide appropriate assistance where required
- Liaise with Customers, Field Technicians and other internal departments to get the best outcomes for our customers

Your qualities will include:

- Strong organisational skills and a proactive mindset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A genuine passion for helping customers and making a difference
- The ability to think creatively and problem‑solve effectively
- A “can‑do” attitude and the flexibility to adapt in a fast‑moving environment
- SAP experience (highly regarded, but not essential)
