Job Description
Pathway to Aus Position Overview Pathway to Aus is a leading migration and education placement agency headquartered on the Gold Coast, assisting international clients seeking to study, live, and work in Australia. The Content Creator (Marketing) works within the marketing team, reporting to the Digital Marketing and Content Strategist, and is responsible for developing, writing, filming, editing and publishing engaging digital content that promotes the company's education and migration services. Working closely with registered migration agents, education consultants and management, this role transforms complex migration legislation and education pathways into clear, informative and visually engaging content for international audiences.
This is a hands-on creative role focused on content production, visual storytelling, video editing, graphic design, social media publishing and the timely delivery of digital assets across multiple online platforms. Salary $75,000 - $85,000 plus superannuation, depending on qualifications, skills and experience. Key Responsibilities Content Creation and Asset Production Develop creative concepts, write scripts, film short and long-form videos, capture photography, and prepare written content for social media, landing pages and digital campaigns.
Film and edit short-form videos for TikTok and Instagram Reels, together with long-form educational videos for YouTube featuring the company's registered migration agents and education consultants. Produce branded graphics, promotional material and digital creative assets using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator. Coordinate filming schedules, prepare recording equipment, organise digital media assets, and maintain a consistent pipeline of high-quality content production.
Ensure all content accurately reflects current Australian migration legislation, education pathways and the company's brand identity. Social Media Publishing and Content Delivery Maintain and implement the approved editorial calendar,
ensuring content is published consistently across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and the company website. Publish content in accordance with scheduled marketing campaigns, university intake periods, migration priorities and seasonal demand.
Prepare and publish timely updates following changes to Australian migration legislation, visa programs and government policy to ensure clients receive accurate and current information. Upload videos, graphics and written content across all digital platforms, ensuring consistency in branding, messaging and presentation. Digital Content Performance and Optimisation Monitor content performance by reviewing engagement, reach, video views, watch time, audience retention and demographic insights across digital platforms.
Recommend improvements to future content based on audience behaviour and platform analytics. Update and improve website content and blog articles using search engine optimisation (SEO) principles to strengthen search visibility and user engagement. Prepare weekly summaries outlining published content, platform performance and upcoming production activities.
Team Collaboration Work closely with registered migration agents and education consultants to convert complex migration requirements and education information into engaging visual and written content. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prepare creative assets for email newsletters, webinars, student information sessions, education expos and live question-and-answer events.
Participate in content planning meetings to ensure creative assets are delivered in accordance with approved campaign objectives and production timelines. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Consistent production and publication of scheduled content across all nominated digital platforms. Delivery of high-quality video, graphic and written content within agreed production timeframes.
Growth in organic engagement, audience retention, video completion rates and social media reach. Timely publication of accurate migration and education updates following changes to Australian legislation or policy. On-time delivery of creative assets supporting marketing campaigns, events and promotional activities.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Marketing, Advertising, Business Communications, Public Relations or a related discipline preferred. Minimum two years' professional experience in content creation, video production, digital media publishing or a closely related role. Technical Skills Demonstrated proficiency in video editing and graphic design software, including CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
Experience using social media publishing platforms, content management systems (CMS) and basic Google Analytics reporting. Sound understanding of SEO principles and digital content optimisation for websites and social media platforms. Solid photography, videography and visual storytelling skills.
Personal Attributes Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple filming, editing and publishing deadlines. High attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate content within short timeframes.
Ability to work collaboratively with technical subject matter experts to communicate complex information in a clear and engaging manner. An understanding of Australia's international education sector or migration industry is advantageous but not essential.
