Partner In Your Care (PIYC) Service is a community-based disability service provider registered under National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
Partner In Your Care provides range of services to people with psychosocial disability from daily activities and community participation. A range of services that enable our clients to feel more inclusive, self-dependent and participate within society.
About the role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Accommodation Manager with strong work ethic to provide oversight of Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes, ensuring consistent delivery of active support, behaviour support strategies, and person-centred outcomes aligned with participant goals.
Reporting to the Operations and Service Manager, this role closely oversees client plans to create an empowering and enabling workplace for people with disabilities and maximise opportunities for the attainment of personal goals and lifestyles.
You will be responsible for:
- Provide management of the day-to-day operations in relation to participants and staff within the Partner In Your Care accommodations
- To ensure full compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, including timely incident reporting, accurate progress notes, audit readiness, and adherence to restrictive practice requirements.
- Develop and manage rosters that align with participant funding, skill mix requirements, and individual support needs, ensuring appropriate staffing for complex participants
- Lead, mentor, and hold staff accountable through regular supervision, performance reviews, and on-the-floor coaching to ensure consistent and high-quality support delivery.
- Understanding each individual participant needs to ensure a roster of care is created that provides trained staff that meet the individual needs of the participants.
- Oversee the implementation of Behaviour Support Plans, manual handling procedures, and medication protocols, ensuring staff are trained and consistently applying strategies.
- Ensure all documentation, including incident reports and progress notes, are completed within required timeframes and meet audit standards.
- Drive continuous improvement by reviewing incidents, identifying trends, and implementing practical strategies to reduce risk and improve participant outcomes.
- Ensure the timely provision of all mandatory reporting to meet the requirements of the Service Manager and Operations Manager.
- Ensure housing properties are maintained to appropriate standards.
- Participate in direct support shifts where required, particularly during staff shortages or to model best practice for support staff.
About you:
To be successful, you musthave:
- Relevant qualifications in Disability/ Aged Care or similar hands-on experience
- Experience with NDIS is desirable
- Rostering experience
- Ability to liaise effectively with internal team members, participants, families, community groups and external agencies
- Reliable and honest approach to work
- Maintains a positive attitude and solution focused approach to all aspects of work
- A current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check and WWCC
- Must commit full time Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Must have a valid Australian driver’s license
