Permanent Part-time role (22.5 hours per week)

Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited (AGPAL) and Quality Innovation Performance (QIP) are seeking a Part-time Accreditation Officer - Decisions. AGPAL is the leading provider of accreditation and related quality improvement services to General Practices in Australia. AGPAL's subsidiary organisation Quality Innovation Performance (QIP) delivers comprehensive accreditation and support services across the health and human service continuum.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in healthcare administration, quality, compliance, clinical governance, or related health services roles. You will review assessment reports and contribute to accreditation decisions that support quality and safety across Australia's health and community sectors.

What you will do

- Review assessment reports submitted by surveyors and assessors
- Evaluate findings against accreditation standards and requirements
- Make consistent and well-reasoned accreditation decisions
- Refer complex or higher-risk matters for further review when needed
- Maintain accurate records and documentation




- Work with colleagues and stakeholders to support accreditation outcomes
- Contribute to continuous improvement of accreditation processes

What we are looking for

- Experience in healthcare administration, quality, compliance or a similar setting
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to interpret information and apply guidelines consistently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems
- Experience with accreditation, quality improvement, auditing, or compliance is desirable but not essential
