As our Fuels & Energy East business continues to grow, we are inviting Expressions of Interest from Boilermakers interested in expanding their experience across the bulk storage, fuels, refining and terminal infrastructure sectors. This is an opportunity to become part of a highly experienced team delivering solutions for some of Australia's most critical assets. You will gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of fuel terminals, storage facilities, refining infrastructure, brownfield modifications, asset integrity programs, capital projects and operational support activities. You'll work alongside industry experts and develop valuable experience across the full asset lifecycle, from concept and design through to procurement, construction and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform fabrication, welding, installation and repair works on storage tanks, pipework, structural steel and associated infrastructure across fuel terminals and bulk storage facilities.
- Execute preventative maintenance, shutdown and asset integrity activities to ensure the safe and reliable operation of terminal assets.
- Interpret engineering drawings,
specifications and work packs to complete fabrication and repair works in accordance with project and maintenance requirements.
- Carry out tank repairs, steel modifications, piping upgrades and mechanical alterations while maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality compliance.
- Adhere to all safety, environmental and permit-to-work requirements, including confined space entry, hot work, working at heights and isolation procedures.
- Collaborate with Supervisors, Mechanical Fitters, Inspectors and Operations personnel to support maintenance programs, capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
About you
- Trade qualified Boilermaker, Fabricator or equivalent, with demonstrated experience in industrial maintenance, shutdowns or construction environments.
- Experience working within fuel terminals, bulk storage facilities, oil & gas, petrochemical, mining, energy or heavy industrial sectors.
- Strong fabrication and welding skills, with experience working on tanks, structural steel, pipework and mechanical infrastructure assets.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication specifications and quality documentation to deliver work to required standards.
- Sound understanding of permit-to-work systems, hot work requirements, confined space entry and safety procedures within high-risk operational environments.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety, quality and teamwork, with the ability to work effectively in both maintenance and project settings.
