Experienced Manager / Senior Manager – Tax & Business Advisory
Our client is a boutique accounting and advisory firm led by two directors, looking for an experienced Manager or Senior Manager to join their growing firm.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with strong Australian public practice experience who enjoys managing client relationships, mentoring staff, and driving workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing company, trust, partnership, superfund and individual tax returns
- Reviewing annual fringe benefit tax returns & business activity statements
- Ensure clients understand the implications of Division 7A & UPE requirements
- Maintain, or create loan agreements, minimum repayments etc. or pay dividends
- Review tax compliance work for individuals, companies, trusts and SMSFs
- Manage a portfolio of $1 million in fees and act as a trusted adviser
- Lead, mentor and develop junior and intermediate staff
- Oversee workflow management, job allocation and deadlines
- Ensure high-quality client service and technical compliance
About You:
- 7+ years' experience in Australian public practice, with several as manager
- Strong technical tax and compliance knowledge
- Proven client and team management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- The ideal candidate will have a high-calibre skillset and experience
