Outside In Landscape and Construction Pty Limited is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Apprentice Structural Landscaper to join our growing team based in Gosford, NSW but working on both the Central Coast and Sydney. This is a full-time apprenticeship opportunity that offers the perfect foundation for a rewarding career in the landscaping and construction industry.

In this role, you will work alongside experienced landscapers and construction professionals, gaining hand-on experience in all aspects of structural landscaping. You will be involved in the planning, design, and implementation of hardscaping projects, including paving, retaining walls, decking, and other structural landscape features. You will also work on commercial sites across Sydney undertaking projects in playground construction and school and parklands remediation. This apprenticeship combines on-the-job training with formal classroom instruction, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of the trade and positioning you for long-term success in the industry.

Key responsibilities

- Assist experienced landscapers in the construction and installation of hardscape features, including paving, pathways, retaining walls, and decking structures
- Learn and apply proper site preparation techniques, including excavation, levelling, and ground compaction
- Develop skills in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision
- Assist in measuring, marking, and cutting materials to specification




- Support the installation and finishing of landscape elements, ensuring quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Participate in site cleanup and maintenance of tools and equipment
- Attend and complete required vocational training courses and assessments as part of the apprenticeship program
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and regulations on site
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project objectives are met

What we're looking for

- Currently seeking a school leaver, current apprentice or career changer with a genuine interest in landscaping and construction
- Strong work ethic and commitment to completing a formal apprenticeship program
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions
- Willingness to learn and take instruction from experienced tradespeople
- Positive problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious approach to work
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's licence preferred but not a requirement
- A genuine passion for working outdoors and creating quality landscape features
