Your role
We are seeking a Strategist to join our dynamic Financial Planning team in a full-time capacity. This role will be an integral part of our leading team of support staff, paraplanning support and financial advisers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Research and develop tailored strategies for clients, focusing on areas such as superannuation planning, retirement planning, cashflow management, debt management,
personal wealth protection and estate planning
- Research, compare and recommend appropriate investment products based on clients’ preferences and risk profiles
- Research, compare and recommend life insurance products to meet clients’ specific needs
- Assist in documenting and filing notes from adviser meetings with clients, ensuring that client interactions and decisions are accurately recorded.
- Conduct ongoing comparison and analysis of investment and insurance products to align with client objectives.
- Contribute to the review and enhancement of financial planning systems and processes to improve efficiency and service delivery
Your skills and attributes
We want to hear from people who have:
- Understanding of financial advice strategies
- Prior experience in the financial services industry and familiarity with financial advice strategies
- Ability to work with numbers and perform detailed analysis of financial data and strategies
- Strong technical knowledge of current regulations and client software such as XPlan, WealthSolver, Risk Researcher, XTools
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills
