Deanies Kids Cuts established in 2004 in Currimundi on the fabulous Sunshine Coast. Our aim is to provide a fun, safe and calming environment for all our families hair care needs. We have launched our All Natural Vegan haircare range for both our youngest to oldest clients. There is not pressure selling just recommendation of our awesome range. We have a diverse range of fun members currently in our team but due to our ever increased clientele we are in need of another employee.
Qualifications & experience
- Must have good cutting skills with minimum 2-3 years professional hairdressing experience.
- Certificate III in Hairdressing (or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia)
- Current working rights in Australia (Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)
Tasks & responsibilities
- You will be joining a fun-loving team with staff ranging from 15 years to 65! A great diversity of ages creates a wonderful caring setting. All staff treat each other with care and respect.
- Clients are here waiting for you. No pressure to build a clientele. Our clients are 60 per cent children 40 per cent adults and building all the time.
- Your responsibilities will include cutting adults and children's hair, occasionally answering the phone to book appointments and checking out clients after services on our Fresha App.
- Essential: Excellent cutting techniques for all ages. Desirable: Shampooing, blow drying, straightening, curling, colour work, and foiling experience.
- Experience working with children is highly desirable, along with patience and excellent communication skills with both children and parents.
- You will be joining a fun-loving team with staff ranging from 15 years to 65! A great diversity of ages creates a wonderful caring environment. All staff treat each other with care and respect. We currently have a staff of ten members.
- No Sunday Trading Close at 1.00pm Saturdays. No late-night trading. We have a rotating roster to ensure everyone enjoys weekends off.
