You'll gain hands-on skills in installing, servicing, fault finding and maintaining air conditioning and refrigeration systems across residential and commercial sites, all while being supported by experienced mentors.

About the Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Apprenticeship:

- Assisting with the installation, maintenance and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Learning to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
- Installing pipework, ducting, units and control systems
- Assisting with testing, diagnostics and fault finding
- Working on residential and commercial air conditioning systems
- Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Complying with all Workplace Health & Safety requirements
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Completing required training and coursework as part of the apprenticeship

The ideal 2nd/3rd Year Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Apprentice:

- Completion of at least 12 months of your Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Apprenticeship - both at Trade School and with a Host Employer
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- High attention to detail
- Physically fit and able to work in a hands-on environment




- Driver’s licence (or working towards one) preferred
- Certificate II in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or Electrotechnology) advantageous
- Opportunity to work with industry-leading safety practices and technologies
- Earn and learn - work towards your Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration whilst earning a wage
- Ongoing support and mentoring from a dedicated WPC Group Mentor
