Your opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Primary Teacher to join our Junior School team for a twelve month period from Term 4 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is committed to academic excellence, student wellbeing, and fostering a love of learning within a supportive and collaborative community.

You will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging, contemporary learning experiences that maximise student achievement and support the holistic development of each child.



The role offers the prospect to contribute to a vibrant learning community where students are encouraged to be problem-solvers, critical thinkers and lifelong learners. Familiarity with the International baccalaureate Primary Years Program (PYP) will be highly regarded. You will be required to:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons within the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program curriculum framework.

Assess and monitor student progress and implement appropriate teaching strategies.

Create a positive, supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

Collaborate with other teachers and key staff to provide the best possible educational experience for our students.

About You:

You will be an educator who:

Demonstrates strong primary teaching experience and a commitment to best-practice pedagogy.

Has a sound understanding of the Australian Curriculum and contemporary teaching practices.

Builds positive partnerships with students, families and colleagues.

Demonstrates excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills.

Integrates technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning.

Will actively participate in the broader life of the College, including co-curricular and extracurricular programs.

Tertiary qualifications appropriate to teaching.

Current Provisional or Full Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).





Demonstrated experience teaching in a primary school setting.

An commitment to the Christian ethos, values and mission of the College.

An understanding of, and commitment to, child safety and student wellbeing.

An ability to develop a thorough understanding of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program

Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) or ability to obtain one prior to commencement
