Brother Shota is a modern neighbourhood Japanese restaurant in Albert Park, inspired by the values of genuine hospitality, teamwork, and consistency.

We are passionate about serving quality Japanese food in a relaxed and welcoming workplace. We are looking for a reliable and motivated Chef who wants to grow with our team long-term.

Visa sponsorship (482/TSS or Permanent Residency pathway) may be available for suitable candidates.

Your Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook high-quality Japanese dishes
- Maintain consistency in food quality and presentation
- Assist with menu development and seasonal specials
- Monitor food costs and minimise waste
- Order and manage stock and kitchen supplies
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained
- Train and support junior kitchen staff
- Work closely with the Head Chef and management team

What We're Looking For





- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef
- Experience in Japanese cuisine is preferred
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy service
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork
- Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
