Ocean Breeze Resort is seeking a Grounds and Maintenance Person to join our team at our beautiful location in Noosa Heads, Queensland. This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst contributing to the upkeep and aesthetic appeal of our resort grounds and facilities. As Grounds and Maintenance Person, you will play a vital role in ensuring our resort remains an attractive and well-maintained destination for our guests, whilst supporting the smooth operation of our property and enhancing their overall experience.

Key responsibilities

- Early morning starts (5am) - emptying of bins, cleaning common areas.
- Carrying out routine maintenance tasks including painting, repairs and minor carpentry work as required
- Operating and maintaining grounds equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests from resort management and guests
- Assisting with seasonal maintenance projects and special grounds preparations
- Following health, safety and environmental procedures at all times

What we're looking for

- Competency with grounds equipment such as lawn mowers, hedge trimmers and blowers
- Basic practical skills in repairs, painting and minor maintenance tasks




- A keen eye for detail and pride in maintaining high standards of presentation
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in completing tasks
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service focused approach
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour in outdoor conditions
- Current driver's licence (desirable)
- A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
