A clinic on the beautiful Sunshine Coast is seeking a veterinarian to join their team. The practice would prefer a vet with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.

The roster includes three weekdays per week and the occasional Saturday. There are two vets on each weekday shift.

Weekdays: 8 am to 5.30 pm

Saturdays: 8 am to 1pm

Current staff at the practice include the owner and two associates. They form a cohesive team and work in a supportive and caring environment.

The clinic performs high-end small animal work. They also perform advanced surgery, including orthopaedics. They offer full surgical, medical and diagnostic services, including digital imaging, ultrasonography, dentistry, in-house laboratory, including IDEXX Catalyst, all of which underpin high standards of clinical care.

This is primarily a small animal clinic. The principal vet treats horses and large animals in the area. The desire to undertake large animal work is not essential. However, if this is an area of interest,



it can be developed alongside the small animal work. The large animal work is mainly servicing small acreages and includes horses, small ruminants and some cattle.

The practice is hoping to employ a vet with the following skills/attributes:

The practice is located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast Hinterland in the heart of an arts and crafts hub featuring art galleries, studios and charming villages. The area is also home to national parks, forests and waterfalls, as well as fruit orchards. The beach and larger towns are under 30 minutes away.
