Role Summary The Human Resource Adviser provides skilled advice on human resource policies, workplace relations, and employment conditions.
The role supports recruitment, performance management, and employee relations while ensuring compliance with Australian employment legislation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and review human resource policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current workplace legislation and organisational requirements.
- Provide accurate and timely advice to management and employees on employment conditions, performance management, workplace relations,
and HR best practices.
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, including advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, onboarding, and workforce planning support.
- Support the development and implementation of performance appraisal systems and employee development initiatives.
- Advise management on remuneration structures, employee benefits, and workforce planning strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
- Maintain HR records and analyse workforce data to prepare reports that support strategic decision-making.
- Assist with organisational change initiatives by providing guidance on change management, communication strategies, and employee engagement programs.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in a related field, or equivalent.
- Minimum one year experience in a Human Resource Adviser or HR Generalist role.
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
