Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Return to Work (RTW) Specialist to support injured workers through their recovery and help achieve safe, timely, and sustainable return-to-work outcomes. Working within the Workers’ Compensation framework, you’ll collaborate closely with injured workers, employers, insurers, and medical providers to deliver positive and compliant RTW solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and monitor tailored return-to-work plans
- Liaise with injured workers, employers, treating practitioners, and insurers
- Coordinate suitable duties and workplace modifications
- Ensure compliance with relevant Workers’ Compensation legislation and guidelines
- Identify barriers to return to work and proactively manage risks
- Maintain accurate case notes and documentation
- Promote early intervention and recovery-at-work best practices

About You

- Proven experience in Return to Work, Injury Management, or Workers’ Compensation
- Strong understanding of Workers’ Compensation legislation and RTW frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability
- Allied health background (e.g. rehab, physio, OT) highly regarded but not essential
