We are currently seeking a Sous Chef. This role offers a balance of hands‑on preparation of high‑quality dishes and operational responsibility for supervising and directing all kitchen personnel.

In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For

- Utilising the staff and resources available, organise and facilitate the highest possible standards of food service.
- Creating and costing menu items within guidelines established by the Executive Chef whilst keeping in line with current trends.
- Actively promotes specialty dishes based on ingredients and or season.
- Using local produce where available to create innovative menus.
- Encouraging clear communication lines and forums between all personnel.




- Training and mentoring line staff including Apprentices and Trainees.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Must Have

- Successfully completed a trade qualification in commercial cookery.
- Previous experience in a fine dining, resort/hotel based restaurant.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably at Sous level.
- Experience in Italian cuisine (highly regarded).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must have thorough knowledge of security, health and safety requirements in a commercial kitchen setting.
