We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Tasmanian team and take on this crucial role.
Reporting to the Estimating Team Leader and working closely with the Sales team, the Estimator is based in Hobart and will play an important role in preparing accurate and competitive project estimates and support the successful delivery of projects.

About the Role
This role will require you to:
- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates of recent projects from registering of projects to the submission of pricing
- Prepare tender submissions
- Review architectural drawingsto create quotations
- Establish and build strong customer relationships and follow up of quotations to assist in the sales process
- Be commercially minded, with an understanding of project scope, risks and pricing strategies
- Ability to build effective relationships with suppliers, customers,
and internal stakeholders
- Liaise with our Customers and Suppliers to clarify to ensure job details are correct
- Maintain logs and report on quotation outcomes
About You
- 1 – 2 years industry experience in a similar role
- Although not a necessity, exposure to the construction industry would be advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to read architectural drawings
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) skills
- Abe to manage deadlines whilst working under minimal supervision
