The Role

As a Level 2 Systems Engineer you'll become the technical owner of incidents and service requests, working closely with clients to deliver excellent outcomes rather than simply resolving tickets.

You'll work across Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking, security, cloud services and modern endpoint management, while also contributing to projects and continual service improvements.

This role includes a mix of remote support, onsite work, project delivery and collaboration with senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Providing Level 2 remote and onsite support across a diverse client base
- Taking ownership of incidents through to resolution, escalating only where appropriate
- Supporting Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive and Entra ID
- Managing Active Directory and hybrid identity environments
- Troubleshooting Windows workstations, macOS, business applications, printers and peripheral devices
- Diagnosing network issues involving TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, switching, routing and Wi-Fi




- Working with vendors and third‑party providers to resolve infrastructure issues
- Assisting with infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations and client projects
- Maintaining accurate documentation and ticket notes
- Identifying recurring issues and recommending long‑term improvements rather than short‑term fixes
- Delivering an exceptional customer experience on every interaction

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving technical problems and takes pride in delivering great service and solutions!

You should have:

- 3+ years' experience in an IT support or an MSP environment
- Solid troubleshooting skills and the ability to work methodically
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments
- Solid understanding of Active Directory / Entra ID + Microsoft Environments.
- Good networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs and Wi‑Fi
- Solid communication skills with both technical and non‑technical users
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- A current NSW Driver Licence

Highly Regarded:

Experience with any of the following will be highly regarded:

- Windows Server administration
- Hyper‑V or VMware
- Conditional Access and Microsoft security technologies
- Backup and disaster recovery platforms
- RMM, PSA and documentation platforms used within MSPs
- PowerShell scripting or automation
- Microsoft, CompTIA or other industry certifications
