JBS Pork Australia – Farming Team is currently recruiting a Piggery Attendant to support the team at our Victorian Contracting sites.
This full time position will be responsible for undertaking animal husbandry and related tasks to assist in the care and well‑being of company livestock, along with basic maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Breed and raise stock
- Care and welfare of stock
- Update production records
- Basic cleaning and maintenance tasks
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working with animals (preferred but not essential)
- Sound work ethic with high self‑motivation
- Working knowledge of WHS and QA
- Preparedness to work some weekends and public holidays
- Fitness levels to cope with the physical nature of the role
- High commitment to animal welfare
