About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced Fire Technicians who hold a Certificate II in Fire Protection to join our Commercial Services Division based in Heatherbrae.

This role will see you working Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, supporting our commercial customers across Newcastle and the Hunter Region.

In this hands on position, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining portable fire equipment and smaller suppression systems. Duties include inspections, testing, servicing, maintenance and installation activities,



ensuring all work is completed in accordance with Australian Standards and company procedures.

Experience and Qualifications

- Certificate II in Fire
- Willingness to learn and apply Australian Standards including AS1851
- Previous experience in fire protection or a strong interest in entering the industry
- Strong attention to detail, reliability and ability to work within a team
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
- Ability to work independently with good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to organise tasks and complete service documentation accurately
- Desirable or willingness to obtain: Certificates under the FPAA Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme
