Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Registered Migration Agent based in Williams Landing moving to Tarneit in October 2026. The Registered Migration Agent will provide professional migration advice and services, including assessing client eligibility, preparing and lodging visa applications, and monitoring application progress. The role involves interpreting and applying current migration legislation and policies, maintaining accurate client records, and ensuring compliance with MARA's Code of Conduct. The agent will conduct consultations, gather and verify documentation, communicate outcomes and next steps to clients,
and collaborate with QEACs and other team members to deliver comprehensive education and migration solutions. The position also includes staying up to date with regulatory changes, contributing to internal process improvements, and supporting positive client experiences through timely, clear, and respectful communication.
Qualifications
- Registration as a Migration Agent with MARA, with a strong understanding of Australian migration law, visa subclasses, and compliance obligations.
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end visa case management, including eligibility assessments, document preparation, and application lodgment.
- Excellent client service and communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds in a qualified and inclusive manner.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple cases, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Ability to interpret complex legislation and policy updates, and translate them into clear, practical advice for clients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in using case management systems, standard office software, and online government portals related to visa and migration applications.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in law, migration, or a related field are highly desirable, as is prior experience in an education and migration agency setting.
- Commitment to ethical practice, continuous professional development, and adherence to MARA's Code of Conduct and professional standards.
