The opportunity:
This opportunity would suit a lawyer with approximately 1-4 years' PAE in litigation who is looking to develop their career under the guidance of an experienced mentor in a genuinely supportive team environment.
While the focus is professional indemnity, the work is essentially litigation and includes:
- Professional indemnity claims across a range of professions
- Coverage and policy advice
- Financial services and AFCA disputes
- Construction-related professional indemnity work
- Commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with senior lawyers on all aspects of matters, including:
- Strategy development
- Preparing briefs to counsel
- Drafting pleadings and correspondence
- Litigation in superior courts and tribunals
About you:
Importantly,
prior professional indemnity experience is not required.
We're open to lawyers with 1-4 years PAE from a broad range of litigation backgrounds, including commercial litigation, insurance litigation, construction disputes and general dispute resolution.
