Remuneration Package

Up to $156,253.00 – Base salary $90,177.00 to $137,861.00 plus leave loading and superannuation contribution. Base salary rates above minimum are available depending on experience.

Responsibilities

- Teach special education students with autism, moderate intellectual disability, challenging behaviours and mental health issues, applying trauma‑informed practice.
- Plan and implement research‑based individual learning, behaviour and risk assessment plans in partnership with stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents/carers, external agencies and the broader community to foster inclusivity.
- Work collaboratively with Aboriginal students and parents, students from low socio‑economic backgrounds, and other educators to ensure quality outcomes.
- Support school‑wide literacy and numeracy strategies and wellbeing programs.

Qualifications

- Full approval to teach in NSW,



or willing to commence application process immediately.
- Approval to teach special education or demonstrable experience teaching students with autism, moderate intellectual disability, challenging behaviours and mental health with knowledge of trauma and informed practice.
- High‑level interpersonal skills and capacity to communicate across stakeholders.
- Commitment to student wellbeing and ability to implement research‑based learning and behaviour plans.
- Capacity and commitment to work in partnership with Aboriginal students and parents, and students from low socio‑economic backgrounds.
