We are seeking an Endoscopy Reprocessing Technician to join our team at Liverpool Day Surgery in Chipping Norton, NSW. This full-time role is responsible for ensuring the safe and effective reprocessing of reusable endoscopic equipment in our state-of-the-art endoscopy suite.
What you'll be doing
- Thoroughly clean and disinfect flexible endoscopic equipment to the highest standards of infection control
- Perform routine maintenance and testing of endoscopic equipment to ensure optimal functionality
- Maintain detailed records of all reprocessing activities and comply with all relevant guidelines and regulations
- Assist with the set-up and preparation of the endoscopy suite for procedures
- Collaborate with the clinical team to identify and resolve any issues related to endoscopy equipment
- Participate in ongoing training and career development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices

- Demonstrated experience in the reprocessing of flexible endoscopic equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with the clinical team
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and a willingness to continuously improve processes
- Flexible and adaptable approach to ensure the efficient flow of endoscopy procedures
