Retail Security Officers – Redland Bay & Surrounding Areas

We’re on the lookout for reliable and professional Retail Security Officers to join our team across busy retail sites throughout the Redlands Coast, including Capalaba Central, Capalaba Park, Victoria Point Shopping Centre, and Cleveland Central.

While guards are generally rostered within the Redland Bay and surrounding areas, flexibility is essential as shifts may be offered across nearby sites. From busy shopping centres to smaller retail hubs, this casual role offers variety, consistent hours, and the support of a strong team.

What you’ll do:

- Deliver friendly, professional customer service
- Maintain a visible presence to deter theft and ensure safety
- Patrol retail areas and monitor CCTV for suspicious activity
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and medical situations
- Apply First Aid and CPR when required
- Manage access to restricted areas and loading docks
- Handle conflicts calmly using de-escalation techniques
- Prepare accurate incident reports and security logs

What we’re looking for:

- Current QLD Security Licence + Crowd Control Function
- Current First Aid & CPR certificates




- Robust communication and customer service skills
- Professional presentation and high level of integrity
- Flexibility to work across a 24/7 rotating roster
- Reliability and a proactive attitude
- Driver’s Licence and own transport (preferred)
- Availability for a minimum of 3 days per week
