We are a small family owned and operated Kustom Fabrication workshop located in Ormeau Qld.
We are searching for the following person/people to join our team:
Metal Fabricator / Coach Builder / Panel Beater with experience in metal fabrication and metal shaping / vehicle restorations / custom builds / rust repairs.
Experienced in Mig Welding.
Tig Welding experience beneficial.
Experience with cars / restorations preferred.
Experience with aluminium / mild steel / stainless steel.
Someone with a mechanical aptitude, car/truck knowledge/panel knowledge.
Eye for detail & ability to work as a team & autonomously.
Own transport to & from.
Own hand tools - (larger specific fabrication/shaping tools supplied.)
4 day weeks - Monday to Thursday - 40hours - some overtime available on Fridays.
Preferably Sub Contractor with their own ABN but open for discussion.
Hourly rate negotiable for the right person.
Possibility of re-negotiating hourly rate after 3 months.
Negotiable with Job Sharing if you have your own customers who wish to follow you.
Successful candidates have the right to live and work within Australia.
We understand this industry is tricky in terms of specific Trade Qualifications as it is made up of multiple trades, we also understand that some Fabricators have been self taught after completing other trades such as Boiler Makers & Sheet Metal Workers.
