Position: Dental Assistant.

Employment: Casual with the potential to transition into a long-term role for the right candidate.

Position overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Casual Dental Assistant to join our clinical team at Shoalhaven Dental Surgery and Implant Centre.

Experience in dental assisting is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided to the right candidate.

The candidate must be available to work for 4 days a week and must hold a valid Australian Driving License.

Dental Assistant Duties and Responsibilities

- Greet patients and prepare them for scheduled dental procedures.

- Prepare the work area for procedures both before and after treatments.

- Clean the surgery and treatment room in accordance with the practice’s policies and procedures.





- Assist the dentist during examinations and various dental procedures.

- Instrument sterilization and infection control.

- Restock treatment areas and monitor inventory.

- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.

- Scheduling appointments and managing patient bookings.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

- Be punctual, professional, reliable and able to multitask.

- Have a positive and a flexible attitude.

- Excellent time management skill.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Be a team player and always willing to learn.
