We are currently seeking a professional and qualified cabinets maker or joinery draftsman with CabMaster experience to join our growing team.
This is a full time position in a progressive company with a friendly environment. The successful applicant must be reliable, enthusiastic and highly motivated.
Job Description:
As a Joinery Drafter, you will play a key role in transforming design concepts into detailed technical drawings, ensuring that our joinery projects are fabricated and installed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed shop drawings for joinery projects, including cabinetry, custom furniture, and fittings.
- Collaborate with designers, project manager, and clients to understand project requirements and deliver accurate designs.
- Generate production documentation and cutting lists.
- Export and process jobs through EzyNest for CNC machining.
- Liaise with production team to ensure accurate manufacturing outcomes
· Ability to do site check measure.
- Assist in troubleshooting design issues during the fabrication and installation process.
- Maintain and update drawing files, ensuring all project documentation is up to date.
- Ensure all designs meet industry standards and quality controls.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a joinery Drafter with cabinet maker background.
- Minimum 2 years’ with Cab Master.
- Hands-on experience exporting jobs to EzyNest and CNC machinery.
- Strong knowledge of joinery, cabinetry design, and fabrication processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Experience in project management or estimating is a plus but not required.
