Your New Role - Business Development Manager
We're on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Business Development Manager to join the team full-time. This role calls for someone who brings strategic insight, a proactive mindset, and a passion for driving growth.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- To obtain new customers as per the sales target
- To maintain existing customers
- Prepare Sales Order Forms with the advice of Customer Service
- Prepare quotations for services for both potential and existing customers
- Host overseas sales visitors and national route development managers as required (this may require evening and/or weekend entertainment of visitor)
- Qualify prospective customers via telephone or in person
- In conjunction with Service Department, send rate and service level instructions to appropriate overseas offices.




- Taking appropriate corrective action to prevent recurrence of non-conformances

What you will need to succeed:
I’d love to connect with individuals who have experience in the Freight Forwarding sector. The ideal candidates will bring:

- At least 3+ years' minimum experience in a Business Development manager role
- Global freight forwarding & selling experience: 2 years’ experience preferred.
- Comfortable taking charge of a situation and of making decisions independently
- Expresses opinions and ideas in a self-assured manner
- Prefers adopting a structured approach to tasks
- Load restraint knowledge
- Outstanding time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Great communication skills with high attention to detail
